This unofficial site is devoted to Decimomannu Air Base.

It gives some information related to A.W.T.I. (Deci Air Base) located in the southern part of Sardinia, very few kilometres apart from the main city, Cagliari.
All the information are taken from Italian Air Force sources, while all pictures are taken by myself along years.
My name is Massimo Pieranunzi. For a long time j have been thinking about building this site. Reason was the enormous number of pictures taken and also because j have a particular attachment with that Base were j grown up for a long period of time when my father (now retired) was in charge of Italian Technical Support Element as a Tech Officer.
This site is dedicated to all Base personnel, to all jet pilots and aircrews who regularly deploy upon Deci Air Base.
